Amsterdam - Netherlands

Beautiful Amsterdam. Was a very short visit but very worthwhile.

The fashion city of the world Paris. Looking at the the fashion conscious people I was over whelmed. People took so much trouble to dress so well. The clothes the food the cafes this city had it all.

It was very cold though....much colder than I expected it to be that was the only difficult part :) I enjoyed every minute and wished my holidays would never end ....

Rome/Vatican City - Italy

The beautiful city of Rome. I have always been fascinated to see the seat of the Christian Empire. To know what it looks like, what it feels like being there in person and actually taking in the history. But whatever I had thought of or dreamt of was nothing compared to the exhilarated feeling i had when i landed in Rome.

The next few days were dreamy & magical while we visited all the main attractions like the vatican city, St Peters Cathedral, Sistine Chapel, Pantheon etc.

The little cafe's that serve pizza's pasta's and beer enticed me. I didnt want to leave .... but had no choice. I left with a promise to myself that I would visit again.

Barcelona - Spain

My first stop in Europe, happened to be the enchanting city of Barcelona.

The weather was absolutely perfect, not too cold & not too hot. The sights & smells that greeted me made me feel at home. We visited Sagrada Familia, the gothic quarter, The Cathedral of Santa Eulalia, the botannical garden etc etc....

The people were very warm and hospitable. I enjoyed thoroughly and loved every minute of my stay here.

Srilanka

My first ever visit abroad. Was about 3 years ago with my darling hubby. It was then I realised that I have the travel bug in me :) Funny aint it 27 years of my life I didnt even know that I loved to travel.... well Srilanka is nice....almost like India....was home away from home.

We covered Dambola, Sigiriya, Candy and Colombo. Was super experience, we went through the forests, covered the moutaineous regions and then reached the seashore.

The countryside and the gardens were beautiful.
